Charlotte women’s basketball coach Tomekia Reed will resume her duties as head coach effective immediately.

Reed had been on an extended leave of absence due to an undisclosed medical issue since April.

A source close to Charlotte athletics who is not authorized to speak publicly told The Post Reed is medically cleared to resume her normal duties and continues to progress. Associate head coach LaShonda Cousin was the interim in Reed’s absence and coached the 49ers through late spring and early summer.
