| Charlotte FC defender Tim Ream, who has 68 caps in international competition for the United States, will suit up again for the Gold Cup. |
Agyemang made an immediate impression in his first national team camp and competition with goals in back-to-back January camp games against Venezuela and Costa Rica and scored against Canada in the Concacaf Nations League third-place match. Agyemang has flourished with eight goals and two assists across all competitions for Charlotte in 2025, including six goals and an assist in MLS matches. He tallied a pair of goals and an assist in U.S. Open Cup games.
Ream is the most experienced American with 68 caps, including appearances in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023-24 Gold Cup title team. Ream played in the Concacaf Nations League Final match against Panama in March as captain – something he’s done in the last six national team matches he has started.
The Gold Cup is the USA’s final competition ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they have an automatic bid along co-hosts Canada and Mexico. The USMNT has won eight Gold Cup titles since the inaugural tournament in 1991. Their most recent win was in 2021.
The Gold Cup, which includes 16 countries will take place at 14 stadiums in 11 U.S. and Canadian cities. All but one national team – Saudi Arabia – are Concacaf clubs and the final will be held July 6 in Houston
