HomeTrust Bank’s parent company has moved its listing to the New York Stock Exchange.
HomeTrust Bancshares Inc., the North Carolina-based bank’s holding company, transferred the listing of its common stock from NASDAQ to the New York Stock Exchange on Feb. 24 and now trades under the ticker symbol HTB. Bank president and Hunter Westbrook, HomeTrust’s board of directors and executive management rang the opening bell to mark the occasion.

“This day is a significant milestone in our journey,” Westbrook said in a statement. “HomeTrust set a goal to continue growing as a high-performing regional community bank with the strategy of creating a ‘Best Place to Work’ for our team of dedicated professionals. We have achieved both in recent years which made the move to the New York Stock Exchange right for the Bank, our communities, and our employees who are all stockholders. In joining the world’s largest stock exchange, we believe leveraging the NYSE trading platform will provide greater exposure for our Company and long-term value for our stockholders.”
As of Dec. 31, 2024, HomeTrust, founded in 1926, reported assets of $4.6 billion. The bank, founded in 1926, has more than 30 locations in five states, including in Charlotte, as well as online and mobile channels.
