Time to jam at the annual Tosco Holiday Party

The Tosco Holiday Party, which brings together local and regional performers for yuletide standards, is Dec. 16 at Knight Theater from 7:30-10:30 p.m.

The Tosco Music Holiday Party is around the corner.

The annual showcase is Dec. 16 from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at Knight Theater, 430 S. Tryon St.

Tickets are $22.50-$56.50 and 10% discounts are available for groups of 10 or more at CarolinaTix or calling the box office at (704) 372-1000.

The holiday party, which has been held since 2016, includes a dozen acts and audience singalongs led by founder John Tosco and the TMP House Band and Singalong Choir. Classic and contemporary holiday songs in a variety of music styles are staples of the concert. Groups of 10 or more can get a 10% discount by calling the Group Ticket Office at Blumenthal Performing Arts at (704) 348-5752.

Among the confirmed performers are Chris Trapper, Denver Bierman, Willow Dixon, Shana Blake, Carolina Ridgeline, Emanuel Wynter, Leah Darling and Michelle Renee. This year’s showcase includes emerging talent Willow Dixon, who will open the program.

The party continues the tradition of creative arrangements and new holiday originals with Shana Blake, who will debut "It's a Ho-Ho-Ho Christmas," which she co-wrote with her grandmother, Dot Lorenz, who turns 101 this month.
