ASHEVILLE BEER WEEK
Asheville Beer Week, a showcase and celebration of craft brewing. is May 16-26.

Some of North Carolina’s best craft brewers will be showcased in Asheville.


The 13th annual Asheville Beer Week May 16-26 highlights the expanding and innovative craft beverage industry across the region. The showcase includes craft beverage dinner pairings, brewer meet and greets, and panel discussions. In addition, there’ll be events focused on education and philanthropy.


“Western North Carolina is rich with exceptional craft beverages, innovative artists, delectable food, and vital nonprofit initiatives,” said Karis Roberts, executive director at Asheville Brewers Alliance, which was formed in 2009 as a trade and membership organization dedicated to promoting Western North Carolina craft beer and breweries as well as provide member education and support.

Among the events are:


• WNC Craft Beverage Expo & Tasting Experience.


• Brewing Some Good For The Environment is a sustainability call to action event: AB Air Quality and others will recognize brewers who took the initiative to reduce their energy intensity by 10% within five years

• BrewStiller AVL, a three-day in-person session on essential distilling skills and business aspects.


• Two-week-long Explore Asheville Sweeten Creek Sweep Bar Crawl


• Art shows that include the Kinetosaur Film Trailer Release Party and Imprint Artists Collective Debute & Tarah Singh Art Show Con Piacere


• Beer City Relay


• Asheville Biltmore Rotary Walkathon to Fight Dementia


• The Craft Beverage Institute of the South East at AB Tech brewing facility tours


• Kick-off party and wrap party with DJs Nex Millen / Retrospective and Hot Bread Selectors
