Former Panthers LB hosts Super Bowl festival, forum

Former Carolina Panthers linebacker Micheal Barrow and his wife Shelley are hosting the Queen City Super Bowl Sports Koinonia Festival Feb. 12 at New Life Fellowship Center.

Former Carolina Panthers player Micheal Barrow is celebrating Super Bowl Sunday with football and fellowship.

Barrow, a Panthers linebacker from 1997-99 and former NFL coach, and his wife Shelley are hosting the inaugural Queen City Super Bowl Sports Koinonia Festival Feb. 12 at New Life Fellowship Center, 1337 Samuel St. The festival kicks off at 4 p.m. and includes a panel with former NFL players and coaches at 5:15 p.m. followed by a watch party that starts at 6:25 p.m.

In addition to the football-theme events, the free festival will include:
