The India Association of Charlotte is proud to present the 30th Annual Festival of India, a two-day cultural celebration in Uptown Charlotte. Festival of India is one of the Carolinas’ largest multicultural events and celebrates India’s rich heritage of art, music, dance, food, fashion, and traditions while bringing together communities from across the region.

This year’s expanded Uptown experience will feature live Bollywood and classical dance performances, authentic Indian cuisine, cultural exhibits, shopping vendors, Henna art, sari and turban experiences, yoga, interactive workshops, family-friendly activities, and much more.

A special highlight this year will be a unique cultural collaboration featuring the Charlotte Symphony on Sunday evening, September 20, bringing together Indian and Western musical influences in a memorable live performance.

The event is organized by the India Association of Charlotte, a nonprofit, non-religious cultural organization dedicated to promoting Indian heritage and fostering cultural understanding throughout the Carolinas.

Admission fee is $5 online or at the entrance. Kids under 10 are free.
