House of Light Church will host a public forum titled Faith Without Works: Do Churches Have a Social Justice Mandate? on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM, convening faith leaders, civic voices, educators, and community members for a timely conversation on the role of faith-based institutions in strengthening communities.

The forum will open with featured remarks from Jennifer Roberts, former Mayor of Charlotte, who will address the importance of faith-based organizations in community advocacy and civic life. Her remarks will set the tone for a moderated panel discussion examining how faith communities can engage complex social issues in constructive, unifying ways.
