Why we can't afford to lose the Affordable Care Act's protections
Repeal would hurt thousands of NC residents

Many important decisions about cancer are made not just in the doctor’s office, but in the halls of Congress. I know this because my life has been in the hands of both.

As a colon and breast cancer survivor, I owe my life to the Affordable Care Act.

While access to care has been a leading election conversation in the U.S. Senate race, I want to know what the candidate’s plans are to ensure cancer survivors like myself remain protected should the health care law be repealed.

The patient protections provided by ACA is the difference between life and death for so many North Carolinians. Whoever is our future U.S. Senator needs to commit to protecting the health of North Carolinians and use their seat to do so.
