Reach for mango peach hummus
A little seasoning for a tasty spread

Welcome to Hummusland. Our journey includes stops at beet hummus and tomato basil hummus. Now we explore the realm of mango peach hummus.

Prepare for takeoff!

Makes 2 cups

Ingredients:

1 loaf multigrain bread

8 ounces clover sprouts

2 cups garbanzo beans

1 tablespoon Trader Joe’s Chile Lime seasoning  

2 peaches

1 mango

Dash pepper

Preparation:

Pit and peel mango, placing1/4-inch slices of mango in a blender

Pit peaches—do not peel—adding slices to blender

Add garbanzo beans, seasoning and dash pepper

Start on the lowest setting, and gradually work your way up to purée

Pause occasionally, using a spatula to scrape the excess hummus off the sides

Once thoroughly combined, place blender, with the lid on, in the fridge for 30-60 minutes, allowing the hummus to thicken

Serve as a dip, topped with clover sprouts, or spread over a slice of toast—also topped with clover sprouts
