Mix it up peanut butter + dark chocolate granola

Last week’s granola recipe did the trick. We’re hooked, but what would it taste like if we swapped molasses for chocolate? Better yet, chocolate and peanut butter. It’s delicious, and we are definitely packing some for our next hike.


Ingredients:


3 cups whole oats


1/2 cup chia seeds


4 ounces dark chocolate


1/3 cup peanut butter


Preparation:


Preheat oven to 275 degrees


Melt 3 ounces of chocolate and peanut butter in a small saucepan on medium heat
Stir to combine


In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients


Stir in melted chocolate and peanut butter


Add an ounce of shaved chocolate


Stir to combine


Line baking sheet with tin foil


Evenly distribute contents of the bowl across the sheet


Bake for a total of 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes


Once you remove from oven, allow at least five minutes to cool


Store in an airtight glass container


Enjoy
