Crab meat, peas and couscous

The Deep Dive includes crab meat, couscous and peas.

Winter can be stressful. The weather can’t make up its mind, and early sunsets make you want to crawl into bed that much faster. Try this simple recipe to brighten things up.

Serves 4


1 pound crab meat

1 box of couscous (roughly 5.8 ounces depending on the brand)

1 cup frozen peas



Bring 1 1/4 cups water and 2 teaspoons butter to boil

Stir in couscous

Cover and remove from heat

Let stand for five minutes

Gently fluff with a fork

Crab meat

Preheat oven on medium with desired marinade or dressing (we suggest a lemon herb extra virgin olive oil marinade)

Add flakes of crab meat

Stirring occasionally, cook for approximately 5-7 minutes


Bring 1/2 cup water and a dash of salt to a boil

Add 1 cup frozen peas

Cover and cook on low for 5-7 minutes

Combine peas, couscous, meat and additional marinade in a large serving bowl, and enjoy!
