Livingstone is looking for a new women’s basketball coach.

Anita Howard resigned Friday to take over the women’s program at Columbus State in Georgia. Howard, who coached Livingstone for two seasons, went 41-14 and reached the CIAA tournament semi-finals twice. Before Livingstone, Howard coached at Division III Salem College from 2012-14, going 38-15.

“We would like to thank Coach Howard for her leadership to the women's basketball program and wish her much success in her future endeavors,” Livingstone Athletics Director Andre Springs said.

A national search will begin immediately for her successor.
