Ebenezer Baptist Church presents Ebenezer Hat-titude: A Mother’s Tribute & Luncheon, a church hat showcase celebrating mothers and fashion. The church is located at 2020 W. Sugar Creek Road. The luncheon begins at 11 a.m. Guests are encouraged to wear hats. Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased in advance as well as the church lobby before and after Sunday services. Join The Fellowship Place at Da Spot, located at 3148 Freedom Drive, from 12-6 p.m. for an afternoon of free fun for the whole family hosted by V101.9’s Chirl Girl with guest DJ Sheila B. There will be musical performances by A Sign of the Times of the Carolinas, The Fellowship Place Praise Team & Praise Band, New Emmanuel Congregational United Church of Christ’s Children’s Choir, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Men’s Choir and others. Plus, spoken word artists Ramon Jordan, Guerrilla Poets and Quatavia Jones will perform. Activities include a bounce house, face painting, balloons, and horseback rides. Booths will be set up for vendors and to provide community resource information. Macedonia Baptist Church Outreach Ministries, located at 1300 Hateras Ave., is hosting a Hot Dog Fest and Membership Campaign from 12-1 p.m. There will be free hot dogs, giveaways, music, fellowship and family fun. Call (704) 392-8496 for more information.

May 18

New Beginnings Youth Choir of Greenville Memorial AME Zion Church will present its annual concert at 5 p.m. The church is located at 6116 Monteith Drive.

May 21-25

Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church, where Rev. Dwayne Anthony Walker is pastor, will host a weekend of events to celebrate the 9th Annual Little Rock Day Observance. The annual Spring Revival will be held May 21-23 at 7 p.m. with Evangelist Rev. George Washington Carver Walker Jr., pastor of St. Mark AME Zion Church in East Chicago, Ind.

The “Excellence In Ministry” Awards Luncheon will be held May 24 in the Little Rock Fellowship Hall at 1 p.m.

The Youth Department of Restoration Apostolic Church will hold a 2-day pre-youth revival titled "Tell Hell I Ain't Coming." Saturday’s program begins at 5 p.m. with guest speaker, Pastor Algernon Stanley of Power of God Ministries.

Sunday service will begin at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Joatella Thompson of Restoration Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. A second service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. with guest speaker, Pastor James Ancrum of Time of Deliverance Apostolic Church.

June 1

Join Restoration Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in celebration of Pastor Sarah C. Broadie's anniversary. Program begins at 3 p.m. The speaker of the hour will be Apostle Raquel D. June 11-15

Restoration Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ will host their annual "Made By Fire" Men's Conference. Services will be held nightly at 7:30 p.m. June 11-13 with a luncheon on June 14 at 11 a.m. The weekend will conclude with a Father’s Day Celebration June 15 at 11 a.m.  For more information call the church at (704) 398-2000.

June 29

Reach One Teach One Youth Day will be held 12-6 p.m. at Freedom Park's Band Shelter.  The event is sponsored by Apostle Raquel Broadie of Restoration Apostolic International Network/Restoration No Walls Evangelistic Mission. It will be a day of fun and enjoyment for the entire family with praise dancers, singers, step teams, bands, and words of encouragement along with informative sessions.
