April 18
New Beginnings Church will host their third annual Fuel For The Soul Free Gas Giveaway on Good Friday. The church will be giving away $40 gas cards to 250 cars, totaling $10,000.00. The gas giveaway will start at 12 p.m. at the Matthews campus located at 7027 Stillwell Road. Rev. Dr. Michael L. Henderson is the senior pastor. For additional information, call the Rev. April 19
Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church will hold its annual Clinton Fest 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. The event will kick off with a family-fun Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. There will also be games, face painting, food, live entertainment, and vendors. Attendees are welcome to return and worship on Sunday during the church’s 11 a.m. service. Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, located at 821 Hawley Street, is celebrating the church’s 119th anniversary with a lunch at 1:30 p.m. and special service at 3 p.m. with Rev.
