United in Jazz, a concert series at First United Presbyterian Church combining spiritual uplifting with musical fellowship, presents dinner and a performance by The Michael Porter Trio beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the concert with dinner and $10 without dinner. March 11–May 6

The Westover Community Development Corporation and the First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Young Adult Department are sponsoring a free EOC, EOG, SAT prep and senior project mini camp offering homework assistance and testing tips for grades K-12. The Men of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will be observing their annual Men’s Day with a performance by the Men’s Choir at 4 p.m. The church is located at 517 Baldwin Ave. Rev. J. A. Cuthbertson is pastor.

Rockwell AME Zion Church, which recently celebrated its 148th anniversary, will hold a Red Carpet Gala fundraiser in an effort to continue to support the needs of its growing community, located in the heart of Derita. Greater Providence Baptist Church, located at 2000 Milton Road, is hosting a Career & Health Fair from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Family Life Center.
