by Michaela L. Duckett

In just a couple weeks, families across Charlotte will be seated at their dining room tables feasting on everything from chitterlings to macaroni and cheese. Regardless of the sides served, a big bird is likely to be in the center of it all. Find out everything you need to know about turkeys during the family fun “Creature Feature” this weekend at Charlotte Nature Museum.

For advice on how to make your meal even better with a wine pairing, stop by Harris Teeter in Cotswald for free samples and expert advice. Or you can learn to mix your own cocktails at a free workshop next week at the Dandelion Market. Read on for a glimpse of all the fun happening around the Queen City in the days to come:

Not sure which wine to pair with your holiday meals? Stop by Harris Teeter in Cotswald Shopping Center from 4-7 p.m. for some help from the experts. The store is hosting a free wine and cheese tasting. Try dozens of wines at any of the 8-10 tables that will be set up in the beverage section.
