Wine tasting 11/14
Not sure which wine to pair with your holiday meals? Stop by Harris Teeter in Cotswald Shopping Center from 4-7 p.m. for some help from the experts. The store is hosting a free wine and cheese tasting. Try dozens of wines at any of the 8-10 tables that will be set up in the beverage section.
Holiday Jazz & Gospel 11/15
Daniel D’s Holiday Jazz/R&B/Gospel Concert, hosted by radio personality Melanie Pratt of Praise 100.9, features renowned violinist and recording artist, Daniel D and the Urban Instrumentalists Band. This concert will also highlight the talents of local artist, singer and keyboardist Lamont J. of The Rock Church with a special performance by saxophonist Devone Gary of Charleston, S.C. The concert will be held Friday, 7 – 9 p.m., at Charlotte Scottish Rite Temple (4740 Randolph Road). General admission is $20 at the door. Discounted advance tickets available at EZ-Tixx.com.
Comedy at UNCC 11/15
Comedian and actor Wil Sylvince, who you may know from BET's Comic View, HBO'S "Def Comedy Jam" and "Showtime at The Apollo," will perform at 8 p.m.
Turkey talk creature feature 11/16
Charlotte Nature Museum is giving guests a different way to get up and close and personal with November's most celebrated bird at this month’s Creature Feature. Join the volunteers of Carolina Waterfowl Rescue and their special guest, Mr. T, a domesticated wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo), and learn the many differences between wild and domestic turkeys during “Turkey Talk” this Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. It will be a day of family fun complete with craft making, storytelling and other fun activities featuring our gobbling friend. Charlotte Nature Museum is located at 1658 Sterling Road.
Tuesday night wine flight 11/19
Stop by the 7th Street Public Market at 224 E. 7th St. between 5-7 p.m. to enjoy a $5 flight of preselected wines at Tuesday Night Wine Flight. If you find a wine you like, the $5 sampling fee will be deducted from your purchase.
PR Image award show 11/19

The Dandelion Market, located at 118 W. 5th St., is hosting two Delightfully Peculiar Cocktail Academy workshops starting at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Join Kris Von Dopek in a fun, DIY, hands-on event mixing Hendrick’s Gin with various flavors and ingredients.
