Private auto sale

The Charlotte Post Publishing Company, publishers of the Charlotte Post and the Triangle Tribune newspapers, has joined forces with AutoNetwork Incorporated to provide a  "Private Sale" car buying service to our customers.

Participating car dealers have agreed to list their ready to move inventory at a discounted price as part of the private sale. In return we give the car dealer manufacturer exclusivity per contract.

Car dealers load their inventory to the AutoNetwork provided customer accessible control panel . Customers can review the inventory, make an offer, and report on test driving cars. Cars listed as part of the Private Sale are the lowest price available for that car anywhere.

Young Ford is the first auto dealer to sign on to offer private sales to Charlotte Post customers. Review their inventory by clicking here.

Have you ever noticed that everyday is a last chance sale at a car dealer? Always some sort of scam going on.A Colorado agency that oversees the state?s auto sales is opening an investigation into the services provided by TrueCar.com, The Los Angeles Times reports. http://zautos.com/colorado-agency-investigates-truecar-com/

I don't get it. What does "ready to move" mean? Aren't all dealer cars ready to move? I would avoid the dealer altogether and buy a repo car at your local credit union (i.e. repofinder.com) .
