| Women's History Hall of Fame Induction |
| The Charlotte Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. held a ceremony at the Levine Museum of the New South on March 23 to celebrate five new inductees into the Women's Hall of Fame. The inductees were: former NASA astronaut Joan Higginbotham, former N.C. House member Martha B. Alexander, Echo foundation founder Stephanie Ansaldo, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Major LaFreda Lester and community leader Jeanette Price. (Photos by Paul Williams III) |
