Chocolate for a Cure
The third annual Chocolate For A Cure charity event was held October 4 at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel. The event is held each year during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise awareness of the disease specifically in uninsured & underprivileged communities. Guests enjoyed chocolate and wine pairings, inspiring speeches from survivors, live music, giveaways and shopping. All photos by Paul Williams III for The Charlotte Post.

Soulful Sounds at The Cotton Club
The Charlotte Chapter of The Links, Inc., a volunteer service organization of women, held a fundraising event themed after high society’s golden era. Soulful Sounds at The Cotton Club was held September 27 at the Marriot Center City. Guests were asked to come dressed in their finest black and white attire.
