Tell CMS what you really think
Online survey available for community input

What do you think of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools?


The district is inviting residents to participate in a confidential online survey, which was made available on Sept. 20. Questions will include inquiries into building public trust, community engagement and communication. An optional question asks respondents if they have a CMS connection and what capacity.


“We need an ongoing dialogue among district leadership, staff, parents and the community at large,” Superintendent Heath Morrison said. “I really want to hear community ideas for making CMS a better district. Trust starts with open and honest communication – and this survey is an effort to build that and begin a candid dialogue.”


Morrison and district administrators will use results of the survey to create the Morrison’s 100-day plan and make other decisions about district operations.


To respond to the survey, visit www.cms.k12.nc.us and click on the community online survey button. Parents can also go to their child’s school webpage in the CMS Resources section.
