First Lady Michelle Obama will make campaign stops in Greensboro and Raleigh on Aug. 1.

The First Lady will speak at UNC-Greensboro at 1:15 p.m. Mrs. Obama is reaching out to North Carolina supporters and volunteers about how they can help organize their communities between now and the November election. Mrs. Obama will attend a Raleigh fundraiser, which will be closed to the public.

Last week, Obama for America helped launch the “It Takes One” program, which aims to recruit grassroots supporters nationwide for the campaign.

The Greensboro rally is free and open to the public. Tickets are required due to limited space, and will be available on a first come, first serve basis at Organizing for America offices in Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem and Burlington.
