This is one of my favorite annual fundraising events to attend, and of course, it’s for a note-worthy cause.  The founder/director of Pink Soles, Ivey Moore, is excited to have partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to provide funding for innovative clinical breast cancer research at leading medical centers worldwide.

Pink Soles will raise funds through tickets sales, silent auction items, vendor booth rentals and general donations to benefit breast cancer research.

This premiere event is always done in style and this year, the runway experience will take place in the Wells Fargo Corporate Center Atrium on Oct. 20 from 6-10 p.m. Naima Mora, winner of “America’s Next Top Model” will host and support this awesome event.  There will be a pink carpet networking mixer with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and desserts as well as a silent auction and specialty vendors with lots of great jewelry and accessories.

Be sure to be on time because you won’t want to miss the runway show, which begins at 8 p.m.  Luxury designer collections will be presented and regional fashion designers will show three exclusive pink looks that represent their unique design aesthetic in the Shades of Pink Designer Showcase.  In an effort to stay linked to its target market (young professionals), Pink Soles has created a “Blogger Check-Point” where local and national bloggers have RSVP’d to stream live posts, tweets, and videos directly from the event.

Tickets are $30 for general admission and $50 for VIP; 70 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and the remainder will be used to fund Pink Soles’ 2013 initiatives in the Charlotte community.  To make a donation and/or to get more information about being involved, visit: www.PinkSoles.org/Ulitmate.  Tickets will also be available for purchase online at: www.pinksoles.eventbrite.com.
