At this special camp, kids will learn about historic photography from the Victorian Era. We will focus on some prominent photographers and address the social roles that photography had. Kids will dress in historic clothing and take period images. Campers should wear closed-toed shoes. This program will be very interactive and hands-on. RSVP required by July 22 to Becky Soules at 704.922.7681 x106.

The Post's Top Seniors program would not exist without James Cuthbertson. In 1975, Cuthbertson, then a Post reporter, asked a question: Why weren't African American students acknowledged publicly for academic and extracurricular accomplishments? The answer was to create Top Seniors, an annual list of all-star scholars celebrating its 40th class in 2014.
