11th Annual Congaree SwampFest will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013, and Saturday, October 5, 2013.  The ever popular SwampFest is a unique two-day opportunity to celebrate the rich heritage of Lower Richland County. No matter the age or interest, there are activities for everyone! Bring your family and friends and enjoy an evening and next, a day out in Richland County.

Friday, October 4th  - 7:00 PM, Evening of BBQ, Blues & Jazz $20.00 tickets

Guests dine on what can be wagered as being among the best tasting chopped pork barbeque sliders in several states; dishes of oriental chicken, shrimp and/or beef stir-fry prepared in front of guests teppanyaki-style, and a luxurious presentation of hors d'oeuvres, including melt-in-the-mouth meatballs, cheeses, fresh fruits, select deli-meats and unexplainably delicious/not your ordinary chicken drumettes. A cash bar is offered for all beverages, including SERCO’s own Congaree-inspired SwampJuice.

The entertainment stage presents Second Nature Band of Camden (Top 40 Band & Show), R&B singer Carlos Santan of Atlanta, songstress Katrina Garvin of Columbia, Grammy recording artist Ann Nesby, and the electrifying jazz violinist Daniel Davis & Urban Instrumentalists band.

SwampFest at the Congaree follows on Saturday, October 5th - 10:00 AM at Congaree National Park, with nature walks, kids projects
