Respect Da Mic Poetry Slam wants you to feel the heat of ink from paper to the stage by steaming up this summer with poetry. Come witness, judge, or participate as poets throw their pens up for three minutes and ten seconds during three rounds of inked lines where randomly selected judges will decide which poets get $250 in cash prizes. Poets must pre-register. Help support our community programming. Bring a friend or two!!  You can even join us for our free poetry writing workshop at noon for all levels of writers.  www.respectdamic.org
