Communities In Schools and UNC-Charlotte’s College of Health and Human Services are holding a “Fatherhood Summit”   It is FREE and open to all Dads, granddads, uncles, or any man serving in a father/guardian role. The  goal is to "challenge, educate, and uplift fathers to become more engaged, involved and committed to their children and families."  The event is free and dinner will be served, but event organizers do ask that participants register in advance and complete a brief survey. There will also be a drawing for a flat screen TV give-away.
