Nationally renowned dementia expert visits Greater Charlotte Region. Join Senior Helpers and Teepa Snow for a seminar that will provide essential information on how to have a positive and meaningful relationship with loved ones with Alzheimer’s and dementia throughout their journey. This session is helpful for care providers, family members, and anyone who is trying to cope with the changes that happen with dementia by providing attendees with strategies and techniques that are effective in responding to typical symptoms and behaviors of people with dementia as the disease progresses.

The seminars are part of a nationwide tour sponsored by Senior Helpers and coincide with discussions at the federal level regarding implementation of the nation’s first “National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease”. The national plan comes in response to the skyrocketing incidence of the brain disorder, due in large part to aging baby boomers.
