The Charlotte Chapter of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF) is holding an 'Energy for Life Walkathon' to raise funds for research towards a cure for mitochondrial disease.  Walkers of all ages are invited to participate.  Contact your friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers and build a team that will provide the energy for those in our community who suffer from mitochondrial disease.  All proceeds will help the UMDF fund critical research projects that may lead to a better diagnosis, treatment, or cure.  The mission of the UMDF is to promote research and education for the diagnosis, treatment, and cure of mitochondrial disorders and to provide support to affected individuals and families.

How to register for the walk:  Visit this website:  www.energyforlifewalk.org/charlotte or contact the UMDF National Office, toll-free, at 1-888-317-8633 or at events@umdf.org.
