Absolutely WONDERFUL performance! It was great for my family to see beautiful African artists tell such a historic story through dance and song. Thank you Mr. Johnson for thinking of my and the Precision Dance Center family!

This was one of the most EXPLOSIVE musicals I have EVER-EVER attended! I have seen Lion King a couple of times but this by far wins me over!!!!!!!! I can truly say, "I fell in Love" with my African brothers and sisters. Watching this show has definetely made me proud to share the African Blood Line. I fell in love with the passion and humility the cast displays. I truly feel that if African Americans had only a portion of the strength and heritage and undeniable culture that my African Sisters and Brothers have, we would be okay... I pray that they will do us the honor and come back to Charlotte. We need this! We could learn a lot from them! I had the honor of meeting some of the cast members and they truly-truly blessed my heart.. So warm and lovable and humble!!!! I enjoyed them so much that I have been and will continue to follow them on Face Book!!!!! My only regret was that not enough peole knew they were coming...

I attended the show with 3 generations of family members & we all LOVED it!! Thanks for bringing UMOJA to Charlotte. We are looking forward to attending similar productions at the Blumenthal in the future!

This show was FACTISTIC! The performers were energetic and my family and I enjoyed the show tremendously!

My children, ages 11 and 2, and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance! We needed the intermission just as much as the performers because we were on the edge of our seats the entire time. I spent a small fortune at in programs, dvd's, jewelry and even a drum after the show because we were all so moved. It was FABULOUS!

Truly a wonderful experience! Well crafted with amazing energy, dancing, and singing. The Gospel music scene was wonderful to me because it allowed us to see, the beauty, once again, that this musical genre emotes in any language. Kudos to The Charlotte Post!!!

The show was AMAZING! We took our sons, 8 & 5 and they had a great time. When asked about his favorite part my oldest said he didn't have one because he loved all of it.

Thank you so much for the tickets to see Umoja! It was a fantastic show and we really enjoyed the evening. Stella, my wife, said it reminded her of home, even though she is from East Africa.

I enjoyed Africa Umoja. The show was excellent and thought provoking. Often we get so overwhelmed in our own personal struggles and forget that people in other lands are fighting for rights we take for granted. The voices were as strong and powerful as the messages brought forth.

It was the best show by far. So much talent and energy for 2 hours giving everything they had. Harmonies and choreography were totally in sync and individual drumming, dancing, vocal and martial arts talents were amazing, done to perfection. I was thrilled and amazed. Encore!

This was an awesome display of talent. The energy of the dance, the harmony of the music and the passion of the acting made this 2 hours of my time well spent.

What an amazing display of music and dance!!! The only thing was, the entire cast was having more fun than the audience. Thanks for the invitation, we enjoyed it tremendously!!!

All I can say is STUPENDOUS! I don't think I took a single breath the whole time. The singing, dancing, costumes and storyline were all wonderful...I would recommend it to all as a "Must See"! Thank you for bringing this cultural experience to the Queen's City!

I would sincerely like to thank you and the International Arts Foundation for the complimentary tickets to Africa UMOJA. We received 50 tickets from our friends at the Charlotte Post. Our parents and students thoroughly enjoyed the incredible show. Art and culture are huge components of our curriculum and Africa UMOJA was important for our student's continued education.
