City of Charlotte - Community Relations

2019 Fair Housing Conference

The Fair Housing Act protects people from discrimination when they are renting, buying or securing financing for housing. The prohibitions specifically cover discrimination because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability and familial status.

Are you, your consumers or clients facing housing issues? Do the complaints fall under the Fair Housing Act? Join the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations - Fair Housing Division in a day-long conference where you can ask and find out what constitutes a Fair Housing complaint. This is an anticipated annual training that tends to fill up quickly. Do not miss out on this event!
