Creating IT Futures is launching a new free class in Charlotte to get adults ready for a career in software testing.
With IT-Ready QA training, students learn the foundational skills required to become a software tester. Software testing is a critical part of today's software development industry. Careful destruction of software can be just as valuable as brilliant creation, and in our software testing curriculum, students learn the best practices for breaking software and squashing bugs.
IT-Ready QA teaches you what s required to test and support software throughout its life cycle, principles of test design, risk management, agile development, and identifying best practices for mobile software testing.
Students who successfully complete this program will obtain three certifications that prove working knowledge of software testing and will be uniquely prepared to take on an entry-level position as a software QA analyst or automation engineer.
Beyond the training and certifications, our employer relationship manager will work with all graduates to connect them to local employers.
This is a nonprofit program. There is absolutely no cost involved and no prior experience necessary! However, the program does require hard work and dedication in order to learn the material in just eight (8) weeks, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Students are required to be on time every day. The program allows only one excused absence and two excused late arrivals. Students must dress as they would in an employment setting in business casual attire.
