We find ourselves in the midst of a nationwide conversation. It is our hope that 'Gendered' will be a platform for a discussion of national relevance in the very battleground of HB2 and the 2016 protests against racial injustice. The current divisive political climate finds people seeking a means to come together and find a common understanding. We believe in the unifying force of art and aim to create a safe space for expression and dialog through ‘Gendered.’

Gendered will be a national group exhibition, juried by internationally acclaimed artists and curators: Kelli Connell, Ryan James Caruthers, John Edmonds, and Carla Hanzal, featuring 10-15 artists, each of whom will exhibit a selected body of work.
