Clyburn. Clyburn will autograph copies of his new memoir “Blessed Experiences: Genuinely Southern, Proudly Black.” The book recounts his journey as a civil rights leader from the Jim Crow-era South to the Washington Beltway.  The evening will include live entertainment and hors d’oeuvres with cash bar and music by DJ 360 and DJ DR. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will benefit the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of South Carolina State University.
