Our annual Charlotte Black Gay Pride Weekend Celebration beginning with the Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, July 17th 6:00 pm at the LGBT Community Center of Charlotte to talk about the 'ISM's" Racism; Sexism; Classism; Genderism and more...our Moderator will be Sarah Demarest, Attorney for the Freedom Center

Friday, July 18th Center for Black Equity will start their annual meeting and conference at the Crown Plaza Executive Park by hosting our Meet & Greet at 7:00 pm with an addition of their Award Ceremony recognizing two of Charlotte's own African-American LGBTQ Leaders; Free to attend with an email invitation Reception, Entertainment and Cash Bar;

Saturday, July 19th from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm Crown Plaza Executive Park Ballroom the Annual CBGP Extravaganza with over 50 vendors, live entertainment including Tocarra Hamilton, and a guest appearance by Trinity K. Bonet from Season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race; Family Friendly Event and Free to the Public

Saturday, July 19th Crown Plaza Executive Park Conference Rooms Center for Black Equity will offer the following Workshops:

2:45 PM – 4:00 PM - “Breaking the Glass Ceiling” – Women in Business Panel Discussion
