"The Competitive Edge: Excellence in Health Care for a Diverse Community" is this year's theme for the Carolinas HealthCare System 12th Annual Diversity & Inclusion Symposium. This premier diversity educational forum will feature some of the nation's foremost authorities on diversity-related topics that impact the cross-section of professional disciplines represented in our workforce and community.

This year's Symposium will host an impressive array of internal and external experts on topical and leading-edge practices and trends in diversity management, culturally competent care, community engagement and workforce diversity; including provocative presentations by Emmy Award-winning ABC News Correspondent, John Quiñones and Harvard Law School Professor, Lani Guinier, JD, as well as a rare convention and discussion on the role of culturally competent care as a strategy to improve quality and service outcomes by presidents of the largest and most influential medical associations in the nation.

Registration is open to the public; available at  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-competitive-edge-non-carolinas-healthcare-system-registrants-tickets-10858884215.

Questions should be directed to Carolinas Healthcare System Office of Diversity and Inclusion at DiversityAndInclusion@carolinashealthcare.org or  704-631-0157.
