The Durham Arts Council (DAC) presents Recent Paintings by John Malveto in the Allenton Gallery, and OUR HOUSE: The Durham Arts Council School Annual Faculty and Student Exhibition in the Semans Gallery, both on view from May 2 through July 6, 2014. The Still Life Reinterpreted by Cynthia Aldrich remains on display in the Ella Fountain Pratt Legacy Gallery through July 6, 2014. Resonant Abstraction by Judy Keene is on display at the Durham Convention Center through October 12, 2014.


The public is invited to the free opening reception for these four exhibits on Friday, May 16, from 5-7 PM. DAC’s galleries, voted “Best Gallery” in the October 2013 issue of Durham Magazine, are open during building hours, 9 AM – 9 PM Monday – Saturday, 1 PM – 6 PM Sunday.
