Chef Kevin Winston II and nDemand Consulting are partnering to hold a “Bring Back Our Girls” Charlotte City Rally in response to last month’s kidnapping of approximately 276 school girls from the Government Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria.

The kidnapping has been claimed by Boko Harem, a fundamentalist militant group in northeast Nigeria. The kidnapping is the latest in a series of attacks by the group, which claims to have killed more than 4,000 in Nigeria in 2014 alone.

The “Bring Back Our Girls” Charlotte City rally, which has been organized to bring awareness to the tragic incident, will feature music, free food provided by Winston and Elite Culinary concepts, guest speakers, petitions and more. Have a Life Church of Charlotte will provide volunteers for the rally.

(Event was resheduled from 5/15/14 to 5/19/14)
