Fitting for one of the world’s greatest artists whose masterpieces blazed an exciting new trail for modern art, Van Gogh Alive breaks through all preconceived ideas of a traditional museum visit. Van Gogh Alive will allow Discovery Place visitors to venture into an exciting multi-sensory experience of Vincent Van Gogh’s life and works. A vibrant symphony of light, color and sound, Van Gogh Alive will stimulate the senses. Synchronized to a powerful classical score, more than 3,000 Van Gogh images create an unforgettable experience of the powerful emotional expression Van Gogh intended to deliver through his art. The images allow people to study Van Gogh’s dramatic use of color and technique. Photographs and video are displayed side by side with Van Gogh’s works to demonstrate the sources of his inspiration. Advance tickets are now on sale.
