Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. – Charlotte Alumnae Chapter is seeking community participation in the Supporting Survivors and Victims of Violence Walk. The purpose is to increase awareness of violence and uplift survivors, victims and to show support to families who have lost loved ones. Registration is free and available online at www.supportingsurvivorswalk.eventbrite.com. Onsite check-in begins at 8 a.m. The walk begins at 9 a.m., and will conclude with brief remarks at Romare Bearden Park.
