In recognition of America Saves Week, CharlotteSaves is offering a free financial education seminar to all residents of Charlotte.

This event will feature keynote speaker, Karen R. Jenkins, author of the book “Nobody Told Me: The Path to Financial Empowerment.” The CharlotteSaves 2014 “Cash4Savers” program – where you can earn a chance to win $100 for saving – will also be presented. The event emcee will be Terrance Bates, News Anchor at WCCB-TV Fox Charlotte.

Admission is free, free educational materials will be provided, and parking is free at the “Theater Parking Deck” on E. 4th Street.
