The Mecklenburg Historical Association Docents, in partnership with the Levine Museum of the New South, sponsors its third biennial series of lectures on Charlotte history. This series is popular with newcomers and natives alike and always sells out. Early registration is encouraged.

Native Plants of Colonial Times: From the wilds of Carolina to the gardens of the world

To register, send a check made out to MHA Docents for $15/person, along with your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number to MHA, P.O. Box 35032, Charlotte, NC 28235. Be sure to include your email and phone number in case weather forces cancellation. Attendees are invited to tour the Levine Museum of the New South after each of the lectures. Free parking is available in the 7th Street Station parking deck; the museum will validate parking tickets. Validated tickets are good for all-day parking on Saturdays. Register by January 31st.
