Chronicling the real-life story of Madam CJ Walker, an unforgettable visionary who was born on a plantation in 1867 yet overcame homelessness and poverty to become America’s first self-made millionaire. Kami masterfully details Madam Walker's fascinating story through the vivid portrayal of more than 20 characters with clarity, sensitivity, humor and passion. Call Me Madam embodies the universal themes of hope, courage and the inconquerable human spirit that exists in everyone determined to succeed against all odds. One week only!
