Welcome the return of Charlotte's "First Lady of African Dance" Ms. Gerry Chisolm and The Nubian Rootz Cultural Center's 15th Anniversary of the City-Wide Kwanzaa Celebration! Join Sister Gerry and her special guests for an afternoon of African drumming, dancing and more. Special tribute to Nubian Rootz Co-Founder Marvin "Kalonji" Bartee (1964-2013). Don't miss the biggest Kwanzaa event of the year. Sponsored by Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department. Free and Open to the Public.
