Genesis Project Family Wellness Center, Inc.(501c3) has a program called T.O.U.C.H.E.D., and every month it hosts FREE events for the community called "Community Move" events.

T.O.U.C.H.E.D. (Tacking Obesity Using Conditioning Hobbies Education & Diet) is a community based health and fitness program established for at risk kids in Charlotte, NC.  The mission is to progressively increase the health and fitness level of the youth in our community and to take an active role in introducing hobbies and life changing experiences to our children that they would otherwise not be exposed to.  To break down the program, they provide a curriculum based on health, fitness, and nutrition for over 400 kids, grade ages from K-12. What makes the program so great is all the different hobbies implemented in the program. The program introduces kids to hobbies such as gymnastics, karate, scuba diving, dance, horseback riding, etc. The list is really endless.

On August 17th, we are hosting a Back to School Health and Wellness Fair and Basketball Jamboree where families could come out and get a plethora of information, free school supplies, backpacks, dental screenings, health screenings, haircuts, enjoy music, and preregistered guest can participate in several basketball games and a 3-on-3 tournament (according to age).
