JAARS invites the whole family to an open-house of the JAARS Center, a platform for missions engagement, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on June 8, 2013.  Join us in celebrating The Mexico-Cárdenas Museum’s 36th year. Come and see outstanding folk art, ancient jewelry, and embroidered traditional costumes of Mexico.  Learn how community development and literacy helped forge friendships and pave the way for Bible translation throughout Latin America and around the world.

Guests may also enjoy mission aircraft, helicopter, boat and 4WD rides, interacting with missionaries, visiting the Alphabet Museum and more. Learn how special modes of transportation and global technology in remote locations are aiding Bible translation and advancing the Gospel worldwide.

Read more at www.jaars.org/jaarsday or call 704-843-6130. No reservations are needed. There is no admission fee but there is a cost for rides and lunch/food.
