The Charlotte Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs Inc. in conjunction with the Levine Museum of the New South will induct five women into the Women's History Hall of Fame. The inductees are: former NASA astronaut Joan Higganbotham, former N.C. House member Martha B. Alexander, Echo Foundation founder Stephanie Ansaldo, Police Major LaFreda Lester and community leader Jeanette Price. Advance tickets are $15. No tickets will be sold at the door.
